Youth games canceled for 4/17

The youth Gaelic games/training have been canceled for tomorrow 4/17 due to field conditions. The next session will likely be may 1.

Thanks to the Rockland GAA!

We had a blast yesterday playing with all the teams up in Rockland. Overcast skies didn’t keep the hurlers down and we had two teams from Allentown play 5 hard games each.

We are looking forward to playing with these guys some more as they provide a great challenge. Keep an eye out here as we hope to set up more games in the near future!

Enjoyed Playing Gaelic Games in Gym Class?

Join us March 28th at 7:30 pm in the Family Center at St. Thomas More School for an information evening for Parents and Children.

If you would like to play for the new local youth club, the Allentown Hibernians, more information will be available that night.  They will be playing in the summer months against teams from Philadelphia, New York and at the National Championships in Boston August 4th – 7th.

Practice will begin in April on Sunday afternoons.

This Saturday and Sunday (Pub Crawl and Parade)

The pub crawl is this saturday and is $15 per person. All proceeds go to The Allentown Parade. 6pm registration and 6:30 start time. Register at any of the following participating pubs:

  • Tavern on Liberty
  • Ringer’s Roost
  • Volpe’s Sports Bar
  • Nino’s Restaurant & Pizzeria
  • Bar Cibi
  • Stooge’s Bar & Grille
  • Greg’s Sports Bar

Sunday, AHHC will be marching in the Allentown St. Patick’s Day Parade this Sunday, March 20th. We are in Division 5. Club members should be at the MainGate Pub/Restaurant Area of the Allentown Fairgrounds no later than 1 PM on Sunday. Wear AHHC hoodies, jerseys if you have them, and AHHC t-shirts will be available for sale. Bring as many people as you would like to march in parade.

7′s Tournament at Rockland

Practice this sunday!

This Sunday we will have another training session.  We will try to train outdoors at Klines Lane field in Emmaus.  Behind Shangy’s beverage.  Training will start at 2PM.  Bring cleats!

2011 Allentown Hibernians Hurling Club Annual General Meeting.

The meeting will begin at 2 PM, Sunday February 27th, at the O’Donnell Funeral Home, 1064 Fifth Street, Catasauqua, PA.
AHHC Members in good standing, with dues paid, are eligible to vote.  The 2011 dues of $75 can be paid at the meeting.
New club members for 2011 are welcome to attend and participate in meeting.
